Early Education (K2 - K4):  
Extended Care Teacher

Position begins January 2019

REQUIREMENTS

All candidates must be followers of Jesus and adhere to the JICS Statement of Faith and Christian Role Model guidelines.
Must be able to meet DSS qualification criteria prior to being employed.
Position may require supervision of children ages 2 - 5, lifting up to 40lbs, and working in an outside environment.

The ideal candidate would successfully show:

1: The ability to ensure the safety of each child enrolled in the class, whether in the classroom, on the playground, or in common areas of the school campus.  

2: The ability to maintain records on enrolled children in the class and ensure positive communication practices with parents.

3.: The ability to work with others on a team to provide for the care of students in our JICS Extended Care program.

Position is considered part time. A minimum of 18 hours with a possibility of up to 29 hours a week depending on the hire. Generally, must be available to work between the hours of 12:00pm to 6:00pm M- F during the normal school operational calendar.

Substitute Teacher(s) Needed

REQUIREMENTS
All candidates must be followers of Jesus and adhere to the JICS Statement of Faith and Christian Role Model guidelines. Position may require supervision of children ages 2 - 8th grade, lifting up to 40lbs, and working in an outside environment.

The ideal candidate would successfully show:
1: The ability to ensure the safety of each child enrolled in the class, whether in the classroom, on the playground, or in common areas of the school campus.  
2: The ability to maintain records on enrolled children in the class
3: The ability to implement age and developmentally appropriate classroom practices in the absence of the lead teacher that will include areas of spiritual, physical, emotional, social, and cognitive needs of students aged 2 years through 8th grade. 

Position(s) are considered part time. Position(s) begin August 2018.
