Building Up Capital Campaign

Supports our major campus expansion project 

Rooted in faith, the JICS Building Up Capital Campaign is dedicated to raising funds for a significant 14,000-square-foot, two-story addition to our existing gym. This state-of-the-art expansion will offer essential space for our growing student body and allow us to enhance educational and extracurricular programs for all grade levels. By expanding both our physical environment and educational offerings, we can fully support our vision of nurturing leadership and spiritual growth in future generations.

Steps for Gifting Appreciated Stock 

  • Step 1 - Contact Ginger Clay at James Island Christian School Advancement office to confirm gift. Call 843-795-1762 or email, gclay@jics.org. 
    • Details needed: 
    • Name of specific securities to be gifted
    • The approximate number of shares or dollar amount of gift
    • Name of delivering firm
    • Reminder of the purpose of the gift

  • Step 2 - Contact your investment advisor
    • Provide the same details in Step 1 to your investment advisor
    • Communicate a date on which the transfer of shares will occur 
    • Ask your advisor to confirm with you once the transaction has been completed 

  • Step 3 - Rest easy 
    • JICS will apply your gift as intended and will thank, report, and celebrate with you regarding your impact on students! The school will also provide a gift receipt for the IRS.
