Building UP Future Generations

JICS Capital Campaign

“Unless the LORD builds the house, its builders labor in vain.” Psalms 127:1

Combining a Christ-Centered & Academically Excellent Education

A Christian worldview is not simply about understanding the Bible, it is about applying it to every area of life. JICS teaches students to see every discipline through the lens of Scripture, while continuing to push students to master rigorous academic content.

Campaign Priorities

James Island Christian School (JICS) opened its doors 30 years ago with the desire to provide Christian education.  The goal of the Building Up Capital Campaign is to raise the funds needed to expand our campus to facilitate the addition of grades 9-12, including new academic, athletic, and extracurricular programs, as well as meet the growing congregational needs of the church.

Spaces Include:

  • The new plan has the building in front of the current gym and will be two stories.
  • At nearly 14,000 square feet, the space is being designed to include two
oversized classrooms to be used by the school as a Resource Lab and Music
Hall and by the church for their children’s programs and other discipleship
    opportunities.
  • It will include a fully furnished science lab and 11 traditional classrooms.
  • The building will be ADA-compliant, including an elevator.

Our Financial Goals

2-2-2

  • $2M Already committed from JICC
  • $2M Will be borrowed
  • $2M from JICS ($1M already raised)
